Slack, Microsoft Teams and email for the moments that matter. MCP for the AI tools that are starting to do the reading for you. No plugin on the client's site, ever.
One event, so it never becomes noise: a client finished a review, either approving it or sending feedback for the next round.
You will not get a ping for every comment. You will get one when there is something to act on.
MCP is the standard AI assistants use to connect to other software. HopBack's MCP access, on the Agency plan, lets tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor read your workspace's reviews and act on them, with your permission.
Things agencies do with it:
It is early, it is optional, and it is the sort of thing that is hard to add later.
Two-way project management integrations, where a HopBack comment becomes a task in Teamwork or ClickUp and comes back resolved, are on the roadmap and not shipped. When they ship they will be here. Until then, MCP plus your AI tool covers a surprising amount of that ground.
HopBack never asks you to add a script, plugin or extension to the website being reviewed. Integrations connect to your team's tools, not to the client's site.
Studio and Agency. Email notifications are on every plan.
Agency.
Not yet. MCP is the way in for now, and it covers most of what agencies ask an API for: reading reviews, listing what is outstanding, and moving comments into other tools through an assistant.
Not directly at launch. Two-way project management integrations are on the roadmap. MCP lets an AI assistant move comments into those tools today.
