When your client hits Finish review, they choose: Approve, or Send feedback. Approval records their name and the time. The feedback locks. That is your sign-off, and it lives on the work itself.
The client approved on a call. Or in an email you can no longer find. Or they said "looks good" in Slack and meant the header. Then the build ships and the brief has changed, and there is nothing to point to.
HopBack's approval is on the exact thing: this round, these pages, this artwork, approved by this person at this time. The comments underneath it cannot be reworded afterwards. It is the paper trail print designers have always had, for everything you make.
They hit Finish review when they are done commenting.
Approve, or Send feedback for the next round.
Name and timestamp, shown on the review header. Confetti, because it deserves it.
No edits, no deletions, by anyone. The record stays as it was.
Email on every plan. Slack and Microsoft Teams on Studio and Agency.
Comments cannot be edited once the review is finished, by the client or by you.
While the review is open, a comment can only be changed by the person who wrote it.
Approval is attributed to a named reviewer with a timestamp.
Each round is approved or sent back on its own, so the history reads like a project, not a pile.
The client approves from the same link they reviewed on. No account stands between them and the button.
Websites at launch. Logos before the trademark filing. Packaging before the print run. A video cut before it goes live. Same button, same record.
Their comments are sent to you for the next round and that round locks. You start the next round, unresolved comments carry forward, and they review again.
Approval applies to the round. If part of the work is not ready, they can send feedback on that part and approve the next round.
The approved round stays locked. If something changes afterwards, start a new round; the record of the earlier approval is kept.
The approval lives on the review, with the approver's name and time in the header and the locked feedback beneath it. The review link stays accessible, so the record is always one click away.
Anyone with the review link who has finished reviewing. Approval is attributed to the name they entered.
